How to change the calendar language
The generator speaks 11 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Arabic. Switching language translates everything the calendar prints — not just the site around it.
How to change the calendar language sections
Switch language
- Open the language picker in the header, at the top of the page.
- Choose your language. The page — and the calendar — switch straight away.
- Month names, weekday labels, the title ("octobre 2026", "2026年") and holiday names all render in the chosen language, using each language's proper conventions.
What the language changes
- The calendar output: titles, weekday rows, holiday labels and the "Today" marker.
- The formats' behavior: date formats follow the language, and week-start or paper defaults can differ by region.
- Downloads: a calendar PDF or PNG comes out in the active language, so a shared link or file prints correctly for its recipient.
Tips
- Bilingual households: save one calendar file per language, or print one of each — the design stays identical.
- Languages written right-to-left, like Arabic, get a mirrored layout automatically.
Mini-FAQ
- Does switching language change my dates or design?
- No. Dates, design and settings stay; only the words and conventions change.
